Comfort Touch™ floor warming under tile floors
in the master bath.
The home's traditional design with the contemporary
convenience of an exciting plan contained many amenities
including elegant tile floors in the master bath. This
floor would be cool to the touch, characteristic of
tile floors. A 62 square foot Comfort Touch™ floor-warming
system in the master bathroom prevented this problem.
Responding to homebuyers' demand for elegant tile and
the desire to have it heated, 21st Building & Design
decided to use a Comfort Touch™ floor-warming
system. Hydronic systems were considered, but found
to be too expensive for floor warming a single room.
The Comfort Touch™ system's simple design and
easy installation also make it the logical choice.
This project was the electrician's first opportunity
to install a Comfort Touch™ floor-warming system.
He used other systems in the past that were more difficult
to install and less rugged. Based upon his positive
experience with this project, he wants to use Comfort
Touch™ systems for all future floor warming applications.

Comfort Touch™ under the tile floors in foyer, powder
room, master bath, and second floor bath.
The home plans called for elegant tile floors in the foyer,
powder room, master and second floor baths. Comfort Touch™
floor-warming systems were installed in the foyer and
powder room (150 square feet), the master bath (62 square
feet), and the second floor bath (24 square feet). Comfort
Touch™ floor-warming systems were ideal solutions
for taking the chill from the tile floors.
The builder, Ken Swartz, commented, "My experience
with heated floors in the past has shown them to be bulky,
cumbersome wires underneath the tile. This has created
problems with installation. But with ETI Heat Systems,
the heat installation was put in with ease. Our tile layer
was amazed at how easy it is to lay over, which was nothing
like other methods in the past. He has been won over to
the ETI Heat Systems. Also, the effectiveness of the heated
tile brings a wonderful supplementary heat to any heating
system within the home. I will continue to use this product
in future homes."

The home design comprised an abundance of distinctive
and unique amenities, including elegant tile floors in
the master bathroom. The 84 square foot tile floor in
the master bathroom would be cool to the touch without
a Comfort Touch™ system.
The tile installer, who had prior experience with other
systems, was impressed by the simplicity of the Comfort
Touch™ floor-warming system and its ease of installation.
The builder, Dennis Kees, commented, "We at Quality
Crafted Homes strive to offer our homebuyers the finest
quality products on the market today, and ETI Heat Systems
provides an important link to the upscale home market
that we cater to."
